Kodulem community has officially been verified, certified and Declared Open Defecation Free (ODF).

This milestone means that all households now own and use latrines, marking the compete end of open defecation. The achievemnt was joyfully celebrated through a CLTS community celebration in February 2026; curtesy of Rotary Doctors Sweden, Community Nursing Services and the West Pokot County.

Kodulem success is a trues testament to the power of partnership and community-led change.
