Water Projects
The main aim is to increases access to clean and safe drinking water to the members of the community, leading to reduced water related diseases.
Our approaches
(a) Drilling boreholes – Mainly used in low water level areas and semi-arid regions like West Pokot County in Kenya.
(b) Sinking shallow wells. – Mostly suitable in areas with higher water table regions in Kenya.
(c) Protecting Natural Springs – This technology is only used where there is a natural spring exposed to contamination and it is a main community water source.
Access to clean water is the first step to a healthier, more dignified life.
Our water initiatives transform communities by reducing waterborne diseases and freeing families—especially women and children—from the burden of walking long distances for unsafe water.
