In the remote communities of West Pokot, distance can make accessing essential healthcare difficult. Through MCH on Wheels, CNS takes maternal and child health services directly to communities, bringing care closer to families.
These outreaches demonstrate how taking services closer to communities can help reduce barriers to healthcare and support healthier families across West Pokot.
Between April and june 2026 CNS had:
- 🚐 120 outreaches
- 💉 4,516 children immunised
- 🤰 1,775 mothers reached with ANC services
- 🌱 251 clients accessed family planning services
- 📚 6,446 people reached with health education
